"You're all..."

By Farzona Kayumova

You're all the colors in a sunrise hue,

A melody that makes my spirit new.

If only you could hear the symphony,

Every beat of my heart plays just for thee.

You're laughter echoing in a sunlit room,

The scent of wildflowers blooming in full bloom.

You're whispered secrets, stars against the night,

My guiding light, my beacon ever bright.

But shadows gather, steal the golden ray,

My breath catches, the sun begins to stray.

Did I chase you away with careless words?

Did love's embrace turn into frightened birds?

Are we a garden wilting in the drought?

Two tangled vines, love's promise turned to doubt?

Tell me, my love, what tears cloud your eyes?

Is it my fault beneath these mournful skies?

This distance, this silence, a heavy weight,

The color drained, leaving a desolate state.

But you're the sun that brings the rain, so sweet,

Watering love, making our garden complete.

You're all the whispers on the summer breeze,

The gentle touch that sets my spirit free.

Though words escape me, my eyes speak true,

A love unwavering, forever bound to you.

Though doubt may linger, a fleeting, chilling rain,

Love's embers glow, waiting to ignite again.

Hold on, my love, let's weather every storm,

Together, hand in hand, forever warm.

You are everything…that's all I have.
